After a fire there are usually two problems: smoke and soot, and the water used to put it out. We handle both, so your property gets cleaned, dried and ready for repairs.
What a fire leaves behind
- Soot residue on walls, ceilings and contents. It's acidic and can stain and damage surfaces the longer it sits.
- Smoke odor that gets into drywall, insulation, fabrics and ductwork
- Water from hoses and sprinklers soaking floors and walls. In Florida's humidity, that water is a mold risk within days.
Small fires count too
A kitchen fire or an electrical fire can be put out in seconds and still leave smoke and soot in every room the air reached. For restaurants and commercial kitchens, a fast cleanup is the difference between closing for a day and closing for weeks.
Cleanup, not construction
We handle board-up, water removal, drying, soot cleanup and odor. We don't do structural repairs, rebuilding or roofing. Those need a licensed contractor, and we'll tell you up front when you need one.

Questions
Fire & Smoke FAQ
Is it safe to stay in my home after a small fire?
Soot and smoke residue can irritate lungs, especially for children, older adults and anyone with asthma. Follow the fire department's guidance, and if there's heavy soot or a strong odor, limit time inside until it's cleaned.
Can smoke odor be removed?
In most cases, yes, but only by removing the residue causing it. Air fresheners and painting over soot just cover it up. Odor treatment works after surfaces are cleaned and damaged materials are removed.
Why do I need water cleanup after a fire?
Firefighting puts a lot of water into a building. If it isn't dried properly, you can end up with mold on top of the fire damage.
